"Multiple Shark Attacks: Three Rescued from Damaged Catamaran off Australian Coast"

Three people aboard a catamaran in the Coral Sea off the coast of Australia were rescued after the vessel sustained damage from multiple shark attacks. The yacht, en route from Vanuatu to Cairns, had both hulls damaged. The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) coordinated the rescue operation, with assistance from a Panama-flagged vehicle carrier. The three passengers, two Russian and one French citizen, are expected to arrive in Brisbane on Thursday.
