"Heavy Rains in Northern Triangle Claim Over 30 Lives"

At least 30 people have died due to heavy rains in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador this week. El Salvador reported 19 deaths, including two minors, and evacuated over 2,500 people. Guatemala recorded 10 deaths, with significant damage to homes, roads, and schools, and evacuated more than 350 people. Honduras reported one death and evacuated over 1,200 people. The intense rainfall is expected to continue affecting the region.
