US Reaper Drones Deployed in Gaza for Hostage Rescue Operations

The Pentagon has confirmed that the US is flying unarmed reconnaissance drones over Gaza to assist in the search for hostages taken from Israel on October 7. While the US is providing advice and assistance to support Israel's hostage recovery efforts, it has made it clear that it will not be sending combat troops or its own forces into Gaza. The US has repositioned troops to other parts of the Middle East to deter further escalation of the Israel-Hamas conflict and increase force protection.
