"Escalating Conflict: US Strikes Iran-Backed Groups in Yemen and Iraq Amid Ongoing Middle East Tensions"

The US and UK have conducted airstrikes on over 30 Houthi targets in Yemen, targeting deeply buried weapons storage facilities, missile systems, and launchers, in response to ongoing Houthi attacks on international shipping lanes and US warships in the Red Sea. Israel's military has also attacked over 3,400 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and more than 50 in Syria since the war in Gaza broke out, aiming to stop Hezbollah's supply chain of ammunition and missiles. Iran's foreign minister expressed that recent US strikes in the Middle East make it difficult to reach a political solution in the region, while a Houthi senior official vowed to continue military operations until the siege on Gaza is lifted and responded to the US and UK strikes in Yemen by stating "we will meet escalation with escalation."
