Massive migrant caravan marches towards U.S. border and demands end to detention centers.

A group of at least 3,000 migrants, including Central and South Americans, as well as foreign nationals from China and other Asian countries, are making their way through Mexico towards the US southern border. The group is demanding exit visas or legal documents from the Mexican government to continue their journey. They are also calling for the closure of National Immigration Institute detention centers and justice for the 40 migrants who died in a fire at one of the centers. The migrants expect to reach Mexico City within 10 days, but many are expected to continue north to the US border and challenge the Biden administration's immigration policies.
