Johanna Ruf, the last survivor of Adolf Hitler's Berlin bunker, where the Nazi leader spent his final days, has died at the age of 94. Ruf, who was a nurse in the bunker, published her memoir in 2017 detailing her experiences during the final months of World War II. She witnessed the deaths of Joseph Goebbels' children and was informed by a doctor that Hitler had killed himself. Her memoir serves as evidence against conspiracy theories that Hitler survived. The Führerbunker, located below the Reich Chancellery, was Hitler's headquarters and contained living quarters for him, his wife Eva Braun, and Goebbels' family. Hitler married Braun in the bunker one day before he shot himself.
