Kiir and al-Sisi work towards Sudan ceasefire.

South Sudan's President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi are intensifying their diplomatic efforts to negotiate a ceasefire agreement with rival leaders in Sudan. President Kiir has been talking to regional leaders and expressed a strong desire to mediate the ceasefire proposed by the IGAD. The conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces erupted on Saturday morning, following days of tension over the RSF's integration into the army.
