PM Modi Orders Quick Surgical Strikes Across Border if Necessary.

India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh warned that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is not the same as before and will not hesitate to take decisive military action to defend its borders. Singh referred to the surgical strikes carried out across the border in 2016 and the 2019 Balakot air strike as examples of India's zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. He also stated that India can hit across the border if needed. Singh added that he was waiting for "permanent peace" in Jammu and Kashmir so that the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) could be removed from the union territory.
