The official opening of Oktoberfest in Munich drew millions of revelers dressed in traditional attire, eager to enjoy the festivities and get their first 2-pint mug of beer. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the 188th edition of Oktoberfest is back and expected to attract around 6 million visitors. The event runs for 18 days and offers traditional Bavarian food, music, and entertainment. This year, the cost of a 2-pint mug of beer has increased by approximately 6%.
