Rampant Violence: Mexico's Journalists Under Fire

Five journalists, including four news photographers and one reporter, were shot and wounded in separate attacks in Mexico on Tuesday. The photojournalists were shot near a military barracks in Guerrero state, while the reporter was targeted in Michoacan state. These attacks come after three journalists were recently abducted and held captive in Guerrero. Mexico has seen a significant number of journalist killings in recent years, with at least 54 documented cases in the past five years alone.
