Second Kenyan Pastor Arrested for Mass Killing of Followers in Cult

Kenyan authorities have arrested Ezekiel Ombok Odero, a prominent televangelist, on charges related to the mass killing of his followers. Odero pastors the New Life Prayer Church in Mavueni, Kilifi County, and his church has been shut down. Over 100 people who were holed up at the premises have been evacuated and will be required to record statements. Odero's arrest comes as the country is still investigating the case of pastor Paul Mackenzie Nthenge, who allegedly encouraged his members, including children, to starve themselves to death to gain salvation.
