Russian Ex-Submarine Officer Assassinated During Morning Run in Ukraine War

A former Russian submarine officer, Stanislav Rzhitsky, who appeared on a Ukrainian blacklist of alleged war criminals, was shot dead while jogging in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar. Rzhitsky's personal details had appeared on the Ukrainian website Myrotvorets, which lists people considered enemies of Ukraine. Russian investigators have arrested a suspect in his early 60s who was found in possession of a pistol and silencer. This incident follows the assassinations of two other pro-war Russian figures listed on the Myrotvorets database.
