A police raid on a house designed to resemble a castle in Mexico's Jalisco state uncovered a workshop for producing drone-carried bombs. The raid in the town of Teocaltiche, an area plagued by turf battles between drug cartels, resulted in the discovery of 40 small cylindrical bombs, bomb-making materials, and equipment. No arrests were made as the suspect managed to escape. The use of drone-carried bombs by drug cartels has been on the rise in Mexico, with 260 attacks recorded in the first eight months of this year.
