"Kenyan Cult Leader Charged with Murder of 191 Children"

Kenyan cult leader Paul Mackenzie and 29 associates have been charged with the murder of 191 children whose bodies were found in a forest. Mackenzie allegedly ordered his followers to starve themselves and their children to death in anticipation of the world ending. The followers, members of the Good News International Church, lived in secluded settlements within the Shakahola forest. Mackenzie has also been charged with terrorism-related crimes, manslaughter, and torture, and was convicted of producing and distributing films without a license. He is cooperating with the investigation, and the defendants are due back in court on March 7 for a bond hearing.
