Kenyan Cult Leader Blamed for 73 Deaths by President

Kenyan President William Ruto has called the leader of a cult whose members have been starving themselves to death a "terrible criminal" and instructed relevant authorities to investigate the root cause of the issue. Police have discovered dozens of bodies buried in shallow graves, with 73 people confirmed dead from the cult so far. The cult leader, Paul Makenzie Nthenge, has been arrested twice before in relation to crimes against infants. Some Kenyans have questioned the authorities' delay in taking action against him.
