Jasmine Hartin admits guilt in fatal shooting of Belize police officer.

Canadian socialite Jasmine Hartin, former partner of Andrew Ashcroft, son of UK businessman Lord Michael Ashcroft, has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of police chief Henry Jemmott in Belize. Hartin was found distressed and covered in blood near where Jemmott's body was recovered in May 2021. She was charged with manslaughter by negligence and released on bail. Hartin may receive a non-custodial sentence and pay a fine, according to the judge overseeing the case.
