Israeli Arab towns and cities see surge in deadly shootings.

A general strike has been called in the Arab community in protest of a deadly mass shooting in the northern town of Yafa an-Naseriyye, as more apparent criminal violence claimed a sixth victim in under a day. The High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel umbrella group also voiced support for the call within the government to involve the Shin Bet security agency in the fight against violent organized crime in the Arab Israeli community, which has claimed 98 lives so far this year.
