Brutal Murder of Mexican Man Over Stolen Broccoli

An impoverished man in Mexico was beaten and burned to death by a mob of around 150 people after he was caught stealing a pair of broccoli stalks from a field. The man, identified only as Apolonio, died later of his injuries. Mob attacks are not uncommon in Mexico, and the chief prosecutor for the state of Puebla has vowed to find and punish those responsible for the killing.
