Sudan's warring factions agree to peace talks, says UN envoy.

Sudan's warring sides have agreed to send representatives for negotiations, potentially in Saudi Arabia, to establish a "stable and reliable" ceasefire monitored by national and international observers, according to the UN's top official in the country. However, there are still challenges in holding the negotiations, and the fighting has continued despite another three-day extension of a fragile ceasefire.
