"RSF Video Investigation Reveals Targeted Attack on Reuters Reporter in Lebanon"

A video investigation by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) into the death of Reuters journalist Issam Abdallah in Lebanon reveals that the journalists' vehicle was explicitly targeted. Two strikes, 37 to 38 seconds apart, hit the spot where seven journalists were standing, killing Abdallah and injuring others. RSF's ballistic analysis indicates that the shots came from the east, from the direction of the Israeli border. The journalists were clearly identified as press, wearing helmets and bullet-proof vests marked "press," and their car was also marked as such. This incident follows a similar attack on Al Jazeera journalists five days earlier. RSF continues its investigation.
