Azerbaijani authorities have reportedly arrested several former separatist leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh, including former presidents and the speaker of parliament, following the region's reclamation by Baku in a military operation. The detentions come after the arrest of other officials by Azerbaijan's State Security Service. Meanwhile, most of the ethnic Armenian population has fled the region, fearing reprisals.
