Israeli Forces Impede Ambulance Access to Besieged Jenin Hospitals

Israeli forces have been obstructing ambulances from reaching hospitals in Jenin, preventing the transportation of wounded Palestinians during an ongoing raid. At least 12 people have been killed and dozens wounded since the raid began. Israeli forces have also besieged hospitals, blocking anyone from entering or exiting. Soldiers have shot and killed a 17-year-old boy inside a hospital compound and have stopped ambulances from transporting discharged patients. The Israeli army has adopted a new policy of checking the identity cards of the wounded, causing delays and preventing critical medical care. Sick Palestinians have also been unable to reach hospitals, resulting in deaths. The humanitarian situation in Jenin is deteriorating, with citizens in need of basic supplies being unable to leave their homes.
