Bobi, a purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, celebrated his 31st birthday in Conqueiros, Portugal, making him the world's oldest dog according to Guinness World Records. Bobi's owner, Leonel Costa, attributes his longevity to the calm and peaceful environment in which he lives, as well as his free-roaming lifestyle. Bobi's age has been confirmed by the Veterinary Medical Service of the Municipality of Leiria and a pet database authorized by the Portuguese government. Costa sees Bobi as a living reminder of his family's past generations.
