Injured Ukrainian War Dog Finds New Life as Hungarian Police K-9

Rambo, a 3-year-old German Shepherd who was injured in a rocket attack in Ukraine, has been adopted by the Budapest police department in Hungary and is now training to become a police dog. Rambo underwent emergency surgery after the attack, which left half of his face mangled and bloody. He spent eight months in a rehabilitation center in Hungary, where his jaw was reconstructed, his right ear amputated, and several teeth removed. The police department hopes that Rambo's story will inspire people to be more tolerant and accepting of those with disabilities.
