Airport Horror: Woman's Leg Amputated in Tragic Walkway Accident

A 57-year-old Thai woman had her leg amputated after falling on a moving walkway at Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport. Her left leg became trapped in the gear's end of the machine, resulting in a severe accident. The airport has temporarily closed the walkway and is conducting an investigation. The woman was taken to a hospital where her leg was amputated above the knee. The airport will cover her medical costs and provide compensation. Plans are underway to replace the walkway with a new model in 2025.
