Two women visiting national parks in the United States were seriously injured in separate bison attacks. In Yellowstone National Park, a woman from Phoenix sustained significant injuries to her chest and abdomen when a bison gored her. In Theodore Roosevelt National Park, a woman from Minnesota suffered injuries to her abdomen and foot when a bison charged at her. Both women were sent to hospitals for treatment. Park officials are investigating the incidents and remind visitors to give wild animals space and stay a safe distance away. Bison attacks have been a recurring issue in recent years, and the National Park Service advises against approaching all wildlife, especially bison.
