Tropical Depression 10 is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm on Sunday and is likely to track over the eastern Gulf of Mexico, potentially impacting Florida. The system is currently located northeast of Cozumel, Mexico, with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. The National Hurricane Center has issued Tropical Storm Warnings for parts of the Yucatan Peninsula and western Cuba. Rainfall amounts of 3-6 inches are expected across the Yucatan Peninsula, with higher amounts in some areas. Tropical storm force winds are anticipated on Sunday.
