"Deadly Oregon Ice Storm: Power Line Kills 3, Injures Baby"

A power line fell on a car in Portland during an ice storm, killing three people and injuring a baby. The icy conditions made driving and walking virtually impossible, with warnings for as much as an inch of ice in the region. The storm caused power outages, flight cancellations, and closures of schools and government buildings. The Pacific Northwest, more known for rain, was hit by arctic temperatures and freezing rain, leading to dangerous accumulations of ice and widespread damage.
