Mark Zuckerberg has announced a new feature for WhatsApp that allows users to manage two separate accounts within the app on a single phone. This feature aims to address the challenge of distinguishing between personal and professional conversations. Users will be able to switch between accounts without the need to log out, carry two phones, or worry about messaging from the wrong place. To set up a second account, users will need a second phone number and SIM card or a phone that accepts multi-SIM or eSIM. WhatsApp also warns users to only use the official app to ensure message security and privacy.
