Vlatko Andonovski Resigns as USWNT Coach Following World Cup Exit

Vlatko Andonovski has resigned as the coach of the US women's national team following their early exit from the Women's World Cup. The Americans struggled throughout the tournament, scoring only four goals and ultimately losing on penalties to Sweden in the round of 16. Andonovski, who took over from Jill Ellis in 2019, finished with a record of 51-5-9 during his tenure. The United States also had a disappointing bronze medal finish at the Tokyo Olympics.
