Trump's Political Committee Spends Millions on Legal Fees as Legal Peril Grows

The group also received a $12.2 million refund from a pro-Trump super PAC. As Trump faces multiple criminal charges, his allies are launching a new legal defense fund called the Patriot Legal Defense Fund. The fund aims to raise money to cover legal costs for individuals involved in the political process. Trump's PAC has also requested a refund from his super PAC, MAGA Inc., to help cover expenses. The funds raised by Save America were not used to contest the election but instead went towards campaign debt and the Republican National Committee.
