He was subpoenaed by Congress to answer questions about the Capitol attack but refused to testify or hand over any materials. Another former Trump adviser, Steve Bannon, has also been convicted of contempt of Congress. Navarro's conviction comes as former President Trump faces multiple criminal indictments, which he denies.
