Former President Trump has hired Todd Blanche, a top white-collar criminal defense lawyer and former federal prosecutor, as his lead counsel in the Manhattan criminal case involving campaign finance violations. Blanche has experience investigating and defending cases involving a range of white-collar crimes, including bank fraud and wire fraud. He recently represented Rudy Guiliani associate Igor Fruman in a campaign finance case and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in a federal prosecution resulting from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
