"Special Counsel's Search Warrant Targets Trump's Twitter in Election Probe"

Special counsel Jack Smith obtained a search warrant for former President Donald Trump's Twitter account as part of his investigation into the aftermath of the 2020 election. The warrant, obtained in January 2023, was for data and records pertaining to Trump's @realDonaldTrump account. Twitter was held in civil contempt and fined $350,000 for twice failing to comply with the warrant. Trump has been charged with four counts in the probe and pleaded not guilty.
