"Remembering Rosalynn Carter: A Legacy of Empowerment and Unity"

Former President Jimmy Carter, President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and all five living current and former first ladies attended a memorial service for former first lady Rosalynn Carter in Atlanta. Former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama did not attend the event. Rosalynn Carter passed away last week at the age of 96 after being diagnosed with dementia. Following the memorial service, she will be privately laid to rest in Plains, Georgia, with Jimmy Carter planning to be buried next to her.
