Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos De Oliveira appears in court for Trump documents case

Carlos De Oliveira, the property manager and former valet at Mar-a-Lago, made his initial appearance in federal court in Florida for his involvement in the case regarding former President Donald Trump's handling of classified documents. De Oliveira did not enter a plea and was released on a $100,000 signature bond. He is charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice, altering or concealing objects, and false statements. De Oliveira is required to surrender his passport, follow a no-contact order, and cannot leave Florida without prior authorization. The trial for Trump, De Oliveira, and others is set for May 2024.
