Judge Orders Mike Pence to Testify in Jan. 6 Investigation

Former Vice President Mike Pence must comply with a subpoena and testify before a grand jury about his conversations with Donald Trump as part of a special counsel investigation into efforts to overturn the election on January 6th. However, he can decline to answer questions related to his actions on that day. Pence had argued that he was immune under the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause.
