Judge Blocks Biden's Immigration Program for Undocumented Spouses

The ruling, following a lawsuit by 16 Republican-led states, deemed the program illegal, arguing it exceeded statutory authority and incentivized illegal immigration. The program was expected to benefit around 500,000 spouses and 50,000 non-citizen children, but without it, non-citizen spouses may face long waits outside the U.S. for residency benefits.
