DeSantis Accuses Critics of Anti-Semitism

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis stated that the United States should not accept Gaza refugees amidst the escalating conflict in the Middle East. DeSantis argued that the people in Gaza, although not all affiliated with Hamas, are all anti-Semitic. Instead, he suggested that the Arab states should take them in, emphasizing that the U.S. should not import people through refugee programs. DeSantis, a long-time supporter of Israel, also called for a swift and lethal response to Hamas' recent attack.
