President Joe Biden, speaking to reporters in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, after attending Mass, explained that he cannot go to his primary residence in Wilmington because the U.S. Secret Service has been making security upgrades. Biden clarified that he is not homeless but currently has no place to go in Delaware except for his other home in Rehoboth Beach. He had originally planned to spend Labor Day weekend in Delaware but changed his plans due to Hurricane Idalia. Biden will be traveling to Philadelphia on Monday for an AFL-CIO rally.
