Ex-Trump Accountant Breaks Down on Witness Stand, Revealing Troubling Testimony

Former Trump Organization accountant Jeffrey McConney cried on the witness stand during the New York Attorney General's bank fraud trial against Donald Trump. McConney expressed frustration at being targeted by law enforcement to get to his former boss but maintained his innocence. He described his work at the company as something a normal accountant wouldn't be able to do and expressed pride in his 35 years there. McConney is accused of helping the Trump family and former CFO Allen Weisselberg fake business paperwork. He previously admitted to helping executives dodge taxes, resulting in the company's conviction and a $1.6 million fine. McConney's emotional outburst came after being asked why he no longer works for the Trump Organization.
