The United Auto Workers (UAW) union is currently negotiating a new labor contract with the Detroit Three automakers. Key players in the negotiations include Mike Booth, the UAW's vice president of the General Motors Department; Mike Perez, General Motors' chief of labor relations; Chuck Browning, the UAW's vice president of the Ford Motor Co. Department; Kevin Legel, Ford Motor Co.'s vice president of Global Labor Affairs; Rich Boyer, the UAW's vice president for Stellantis and competitive shop/independents, parts and suppliers; and Christopher Fields, Stellantis' senior vice president of employee relations and manufacturing human resources. The final deal must be approved by auto CEOs and UAW President Shawn Fain before being put to a membership vote.
