Protests for Palestinian rights disrupt Black Friday shopping

Bay Area Palestinians and indigenous groups in the San Francisco Bay Area are calling for a full cease-fire in Gaza amidst a four-day humanitarian pause. Many Bay Area Palestinians are relieved that their families in Gaza can finally walk freely without the constant fear of airstrikes. However, concerns remain about the limited duration of the pause and the worsening conditions in the West Bank. Protests and solidarity marches have taken place in the Bay Area, demanding an end to the occupation and a permanent cease-fire. Calls for a humanitarian corridor to assist Gazans as winter approaches have also been made.
