West Nile Virus Spreading: Human Cases Confirmed in Multiple States

Four human cases of West Nile Virus have been confirmed in Oklahoma, with mosquitos spreading the virus throughout the state. The Tulsa Health Department has identified areas with positive mosquito trap data, urging caution and vigilance. Symptoms of the virus include fever, headache, and body or joint pain, and while most infected individuals may not exhibit symptoms, the virus can be deadly.
