Home COVID-19 Vaccinations for Children from Low-Income Families

In England, a new pilot scheme will offer at-home vaccinations to children from struggling families to improve vaccine uptake, addressing declining coverage and long NHS wait times for pediatric care. The initiative aims to reach families facing barriers like language, travel, or childcare issues, with broader efforts to enhance children's healthcare and workforce capacity. Additionally, children up to six will soon be vaccinated against chickenpox for free from January 2026.
