Hepatitis A Outbreak at Pine Knob Music Theatre: Concertgoers at Risk

The Ivy Lounge at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan has been confirmed as an exposure site for hepatitis A. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is urging individuals who consumed food at the Ivy Lounge between August 26 and September 8 to monitor for symptoms and get vaccinated as soon as possible. Concert attendees, particularly those who attended the Jason Aldean concert on September 8, are advised to get vaccinated before September 23. Symptoms of hepatitis A include abdominal pain, fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, and yellowing of the skin and eyes.
