Wayne Northrop, Star of 'Days of Our Lives,' Passes Away at 77

Wayne Northrop, renowned for his roles in 'Days of Our Lives' and 'Dynasty,' has passed away at 77. Diagnosed with Alzheimer's six years ago, he died at the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital. Northrop was a beloved figure in soap operas, appearing in over 1,000 episodes of 'Days of Our Lives' and other series like 'Port Charles' and 'L.A. Law.' He is survived by his wife, Lynn Herring Northrop, and their two sons. Northrop was also a passionate rancher and conservationist.
