Teenage Genius Hacks Rockstar Games and Leaks GTA 6 Using Amazon Fire Stick in Hotel

An 18-year-old member of the cyber-crime collective Lapsus$ was implicated in hacks targeting major tech corporations, including Rockstar Games, Uber, and Nvidia. While out on bail, he leaked excerpts of Grand Theft Auto 6 using an Amazon Fire Stick in a hotel room. The teenager, deemed unfit to stand trial, faced charges for blackmailing BT Group and demanding a $4 million ransom from UK mobile service provider EE. The Lapsus$ group, primarily composed of teenagers, taunted their victims on Telegram and exposed defense vulnerabilities. The extent of their gains remains unclear, and their sentences will be determined at a later date.
