"US Airman Jack Teixeira Arrested for Leaking Classified Pentagon Documents"

US airman Jack Teixeira, 21, has been charged with leaking hundreds of confidential intelligence and defense documents, including sensitive secrets about American allies and US assessments of the war in Ukraine. He was arrested by FBI agents at his family home in Massachusetts and faces up to 10 years in prison for unauthorised retention and transmission of national defense information, and up to five years in prison for unauthorised removal and retention of classified documents. Teixeira held a "top secret" security clearance and worked as an IT specialist in the intelligence wing of the Massachusetts National Guard.
