Multi-state Crime Spree Ends in Tragic Deaths

A woman was found dead in her Iowa home, leading to the discovery that her 5-month-old baby had been left at a random Wisconsin home and her 13-year-old child was missing. The suspect, Alexander Grunke, was involved in a vehicle pursuit in Wisconsin, during which the 13-year-old was found dead. Grunke was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an Albion home. The cause of the teenager's death is unknown, and Grunke had previously been charged with abduction and interference with child custody.
